What is Rabbit R1?
The affordable price tag of $199 is a contributor to its early success. Comparing the recently launched Humane AI it starts at $699 which is making the rabbit a significantly more budget friendly option.
Along with Teenage Engineering, a Swedish business, Rabbit co-designed the R1. Serving as a conduit between consumers and their smartphones—including iPhones and other models—is its main objective. The purpose of the Rabbit R1 and its operating system, Rabbit OS, is to streamline user interaction with apps.
The R1 is tiny and square in shape. It is almost half the size of a standard smartphone and has a reddish-orange casing. The gadget is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a tiny 2.88-inch display.
Not withstanding its capabilities, the Rabbit R1 is limited to processing natural language. Rather, it makes use of a “Large Action Model” (LAM) that establishes connections with a range of web-app and third-party APIs, including generative feature.
