Just Four days after bottoming out with a 3-0 loss to one of the most interesting team Minnesota Vikings that too in the lowest-scoring indoor game in NFL history, the Raiders’ win over Chargers beating their AFC West rival 63-21. It happened on pretty Thursday night while setting a huge franchise record for points that were scored in a game.
The 63 points were considered as the third most by a team in the Super Bowl era. It was also taken as the second most in NFL history by such a team that was shut out in its previous game. Interesting right? One behind the 64 points the 1934 Philadelphia Eagles scored against the Cincinnati Reds.
Raiders’ win over Chargers
The game as seen was essentially over the instant the Chargers took the field. It shocked the fans a lot and created a huge hustle. After forcing a three-and-out, the team of Raiders took whole control of the ball at their own 32-yard line. The team then took down the field in 12 plays and also capped the drive just with a 1-yard touchdown run by Zamir White. This made the ground level rise to its best!

This kept on going again and again. At the time when the first quarter ended, the Raiders held a score of 21-0 which was a great lead. At halftime, the team had surely extended their score to something which was indeed shocking; 42-0. This made Raiders set a team record for the most points scored in the first half itself.
Indeed this is the same Raiders team that was shut out by the Minnesota Vikings in the week 14.
Things surely got pretty bad for the Chargers that Amazon Prime NFL television analyst and former All-Pro Richard Sherman called for the team to fire Staley that too at halftime.
Irrespective of all hard work and constant attempts by chargers, the victory was for Raiders and the news flashed out soon ” Raiders’ win over Chargers”. This created a massive hustle and outbreak amongst the fan base.
